“God, please make my daughter a woman of grace, so that like Christ, she will show favor & kindness to the undeserving. May she grow into a woman who exudes God’s beauty & virtue. Give her a healthy view of her body, & may she dress modestly with decency & propriety (1 Tim 2:9).
“May she cling to the promise that she is “wonderfully made” no matter what the world says. (Pslm 139:14). Protect her from the influence of the world so that she might resist rather than conform (Rom 12:2). May her beauty not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles & the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes.Rather, from her inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle & quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight(1Peter 3-4).”
