January 3, 2018 by Jen Cudmore
At the end of each year, I’m one of those people who likes to reflect on what I’ve learned and accomplished.
2017 was a big year personally – God really stretched my faith! He gave me the word “surrender”, and that was more of a challenge than I expected! I’ve been feeling really overwhelmed with all my commitments, but He keeps reminding me to abide in Him because the joy of the Lord is my strength. He’s been teaching me how to be an intercessor/watchman, and how to conquer fear I didn’t even know I had!
Being a part of Alaska Christian Women’s Ministry (ACWM) has been a-ma-zing! God has really moved in and through this team of ladies over the past year. I am honored to be part of His plan for Alaska, as we seek to connect and disciple the women of this great state.
Although the management position at the medical clinic has been keeping me terribly busy, as well as church ministry commitments and family, I am optimistic about where God is leading me in 2018!
Upcoming this year:
- 21-Day Fast with ACWM. Ladies – please join us! We’ll be going from January 10-31. Starting of the new year seeking the Lord always brings growth, blessings and renewed faith. For more details, check out our Facebook Page.
- My son will be graduating High School in May and heading off to the Navy! They recruited him for the nuclear engineering program. It’s been bittersweet as I prepare my heart to let him go, but I’m incredibly proud of him and can’t wait to see what God does in his life!
- Last month, I signed with a new agent, Bob Hostetler from the Steve Laube Agency. I’m looking forward to discussions later this spring about publishing options. I feel like God is opening some new opportunities for me. More on that later, as He gives me more direction.
- My website is a little “outdated”, so I’m thinking of ways to make changes. I think I found a good resource to help me with the more technical stuff I haven’t been able to figure out! It’s probably time to get some new headshots, too. My goal is to write a post once a month this year, so stay tuned!
This week I’m hoping to refine my goals for 2018. May you all be blessed as you go forward with where God is directing you!
