Jen’s Novels

11

My first novel was published in May 2013 by a small company called Helping Hands Press.

The Lawmen of Clayton County
This series (three stories, six volumes) is set in the Pacific Northwest just after the Great Migration across the Oregon Trail, when settlers began populating the Willamette Valley and spreading out across the territory. I scrunched the fictitious Clayton County between modern day Skamania and Klickitat counties. The series focuses on three small towns and the settlers’ attempt to create a structure of laws and justice.

Book 2: Willow Ridge (Both volumes are available on Amazon, Barnes&Noble, or Kobo )

Barrett isn’t sure how to make up for the mistakes of his past. His skills are needed in town, but is it safer if he goes on his way?

Book 3: Castleton (no release date yet.)

The new deputy, a young man of weak constitution who hopes to follow in his father’s footsteps, tries to earn the respect a true lawman deserves. When he keeps failing to meet the standard, he wonders if he’s really got what it takes to do the job. Is determination enough, or will he have to give up his dream of being a lawman?

A contemporary set of short stories with 5 other authors! (I wrote 3 of the stories, one for each of the 3 series.) The San Francisco Wedding Planner: Heather Donovan has no time for her own romance—she’s busy making wedding dreams come true for other people.

Here is the Amazon link to Volume 1 and Volume 2. Or the whole series!
